Diversity

One of the principles inherent in the Episcopal tradition is diversity.  St. John’s Parish Day School values and celebrates diversity of race, ethnicity, nationality, culture, religious background, gender, gender identity, family composition and socioeconomic background. Through daily chapel and educational programming, we teach diversity on a regular basis throughout the entire school, preschool through 5th grade.  We firmly believe that our community is best served with a broad spectrum of backgrounds represented in our students, families, faculty, staff, administration and governing board.   We strive to create a community that honors and values the worth and dignity of every human being. With this foundation, we know that our children are best prepared for success in an ever changing world.
