If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
"I have never been to New Mexico and I would love to go but I really want to return to Kenya, Africa. I traveled there 2 summers ago to teach in our partner schools through Kenya Connect. I loved it! I love the landscape, the people, especially the children! I loved bringing new ideas to their classrooms and new ways of approaching teaching. I loved the look on the children’s faces when reading them a book and playing games with them in the schoolyard."
What is your favorite activity? "Right now, it’s working out with personal trainer Katie Ficca. She has brought a sense of light at the end of the tunnel. "
Do you have a hidden talent and/or hobbies? "I have a black belt in taijutsu and I have hiked the Grand Canyon from rim to rim."
