On February 24th,  we had the pleasure of hosting the Association of Independent Maryland & DC Schools’(AIMS) “Reading Instruction, Critical Thinking & Picture Books” workshop. Educators from our school were joined by various schools to learn new ways of analyzing picture books. They enjoyed exposure to multiple new texts across genres and formats, and received tools to continue their own learning on children's literature. As an AIMS member school, we are very proud to support this wonderful opportunity for professional development and lifelong learning!
