Scrip Fundraising

Welcome to Scrip!  A fundraiser for the SJPDS Parents’ Association. The idea is simple: You buy gift cards at their face value and the SJPDS Parents’ Association receives a percentage of the dollar value of your purchase for the benefit of the school and your children. Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards.

You purchase gift cards at face value, and your Scrip Director orders those cards at a reduced price. The difference is an instant rebate for your organization. It’s really that simple!

Gift cards are available from more than 700 of the country’s biggest retailers, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, home improvement, and more. It’s time to put your shopping dollars to work!

  • To enroll in the Scrip program, follow the instructions in the document below Scrip Enroll.
  • PrestoPay™ Lets you pay for your orders online—no more dropping off checks! PrestoPay securely links a bank account to your ShopWithScrip account so you can choose electronic debit when you checkout online. The rebate is automatically credited to your organization, and you don’t have to worry about cash or checks.
  • To separately enroll in PrestoPay™, follow the instructions in the document below Scrip Presto Pay.
  • For a listing of the various options, see the document below Brand List No Group.

For Room Parents

If you opt to use your class funds (from the PA account) to purchase a gift card, order the gift cards online using your Room Parent Account and check out using the “pay with a check” option. In lieu of paying with the check, send your Scrip Director an e-mail stating that you are planning to give the gift card as a teacher/school gift, along with the name of the class (e.g., 3s, Mrs. Jennings).

If you simply give that gift card directly to the recipient, then there’s no need to fill out a reimbursement form. If instead, you opt to use the gift card to purchase items (e.g., cards, small gifts, wrapping items, etc.), then you need to submit a reimbursement form that shows that the gift card was used for that purpose.
