Famous Person Wax Museum

On February 28th, Fourth graders took part in St. John's Famous Person Wax Museum. Each fourth grader chose their own famous person to research and explore. Students expanded their research skills by using a variety of resources: books, websites, videos, interviews, etc. Students then had to create a tri-fold highlighting important facts about their famous person's childhood, middle and later years. The tri-folds also included a timeline, photographs, drawings, and some interesting facts. All of this research prepared the students for the Wax Museum. Each student dressed up like their famous person (along with props) and memorized a 1-2 minute speech to present to the museum's visitors: students from other grades, parents, grandparents, and staff. The students really did an amazing job and enjoyed the experience! View Pictures
