#NewToSJPDS

“ I am very excited to make the transition from parent to teacher at St John’s Parish Day School. Both my sons have attended SJPDS with my youngest currently enrolled in the EC 4’s program. I am grateful to join the staff this year as the full day 3’s teacher. I have come to know many of the staff over the past year with my involvement as the Decorations Chair for the Candyland Gala and seen first hand the dedication and devotion SJPDS gives to its students and staff and the community.

Currently, I am working on finishing my Masters in Education and hope to parallel my studies with my position as an Early Childhood educator. I love finding creative connections and engrossing environments where students feel safe to explore and grow and I feel that Early Childhood is the perfect place for me to best utilize my creativity. When I am not with my family, you will find me painting. I work in watercolors and acrylic. I also throw pottery when time allows and used to teach at “The Clay Grounds” in Old Ellicott City. I am an avid reader and spend my nights curled up with the classics. From Bronte to Hemingway I love a good book! I look forward to getting to know everyone in the coming school year!
