2019 Variety Show
We are excited to begin planning the 2019 SJPDS Variety Show, which will take place on Friday, May 10 in ASH at 6:30 pm. Students look forward to this event each year to share their talents with their friends, families, and teachers in a fun and supportive environment. Acts are limited to 3 minutes each, and group acts are encouraged. In the past, students have performed comedy, dance, singing, spoken word, karate, gymnastics, magic, and musical acts, among others. While we hold 'auditions', all students who wish to perform will be included in the show. The auditions allow us a chance to give some guidance to the performers and also to assist us in planning out the show. Acts do not need to be fully polished for the auditions (i.e. song lyrics don't have to be memorized, routines don't need to be finalized, etc.). If your child is interested in participating in the Variety Show, please complete and submit the form sent home in the Friday Folders last week to your child's classroom teacher by Monday, March 18th. Auditions will be held March 25 and 27th from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. A sign-up genius will be sent out to sign up for time slots shortly. Please e-mail any questions to [email protected]
