Ms. Robbins began assisting and teaching at St. John’s in 1981, becoming Early Childhood Director in 1986. She holds a BS in Child Development from Syracuse University. Ms. Robbins is a former Board Member of the Mid-Atlantic Episcopal Schools Association and a former member of the Governing Board of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. She says her passion in early childhood education is best answered in a poem by Robyn Squire titled “Kids are my Business,” which explores the luck, pride, and gratefulness that she feels in working with children, helping them stay safe, and watching them play and grow. She is the mother of two St. John’s PDS alums and grandmother to “4 incredible grandsons." When not at school, Ms. Robbins is an active member at St. John’s Church, spends time with her grandsons during “weekends at Grammy’s,” enjoys gardening, needlepoint, reading, Beatrix Potter, and England!
