Activities Coordinator

In her role as Activity Coordinator, Mrs. Parlette coordinates all aspects of extra curricular activities including the After-School Programs, After-Care activities, Lunch Program and the St. John's Summer Camp.  Additionally, she coordinates the staffing and set-up for lunch and recess during the school day.  Mrs. Parlette attended Carroll Community College and Catonsville Community College and holds a certification in child care management.  She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree. 

Mrs. Parlette is no stranger to mult-tasking or coordinating activities for children. She spent seven years as a activites coordinator and camp director which taught her the importance of allowing children to enjoy their time as a child while learning fun and exciting information.  In fact, she is passionate about children having opportunities to explore and enjoy their childhood. She well known to the St. John's community having spent five years working as a teaching assistant in the Lower School. Prior to beginning her career at S. John's, Mrs. Parlette was a construction coordinator for Adelphi Cable. Drawing on her many years experience, Mrs. Parlette now focuses mainly on identifying quality programs to bring to the St. John's campus with the intent of enriching the students experience at St. John's.  

Mrs. Parlette resides in Sykesville, Md., with her family.  She loves to swim, knit, read books, and sail.
