Janet is a member of the National Science Teachers Association. She received a BA from Muhlenberg College and an MS from Drexel University. She and her husband Will have lived in Columbia since 1980 and have two grown children, both of whom are alumni of SJPDS. She has just concluded a 4-year term as Clerk of Session, the highest lay office in a congregation.
Janet has found teaching at SJPDS to be a source of inspiration professionally and spiritually. Having the opportunity to be a part of the education young children in this school which acknowledges the need and value of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of all children and their families is challenging professionally and humbling spiritually.
