Ms. Boston served as the Director of Admission and Financial Aid at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, MD, from July 1993-June 1997. She was responsible for the administration of financial aid grants and loans in excess of $3.4 million and the processing of over 3,000 inquiries, 600 applications, and 200 matriculations per year. She also oversaw the development of marketing and advertising materials and budgets.
Previously, Ms. Boston was a Senior Associate with the law firms of Piper & Marbury (1991-1993) and Nixon, Hargrave, Devans and Doyle (DC Office, 1987-1991), and an Associate with Duncan, Allen & Mitchell (1984-1987). She holds a BA from Lehigh University (1981) and JD from American University (1984).
She is married to Wallace E. Boston, EdD, President of American Public Education, Inc., and is the mother of 8 year old twin daughters, Grace and Sarah. She is the past Treasurer of the McDonogh Parents Association and past chair of the Lower School Parents Association.
