Campus Tour: Main Entrance and Children’s Garden

Coming from the west on Frederick Road, the main entrance is located on the left at the top of the hill, after passing the Howard County Library and the First Lutheran Church. Coming from the East on Frederick Road, it is the 2nd entrance located at the top of the hill after passing the flag pole. 

You will notice the stone gate columns which were the original entrance to the church and the Children's Memorial Garden which is to the right as you drive onto the St. John's campus, just past Rose Hill. The garden is flanked to the rear by the stone pillars and gate that were the original entrance to the church grounds. The garden includes a small fountain and benches. The garden is particularly beautiful in the spring as the daffodils push their way up and create a cheery yellow carpet throughout the area.
