When it comes to childrearing tips, we often look for the BIG CONCEPTS that supposedly will be life changers for our children – things like classical music for in-utero babies or the latest/greatest reading programs for 2-year-olds – when in fact, it is truly the smaller, simpler things that can make a difference and that we can affect more readily.  I wish to pass on two of these simpler points that have come to my attention recently.
