The Parent Handbook

Everything you need to know can be found in the Parent Handbook!

The Parent Handbook (see below) is a guide for parents and students to the philosophies, policies and procedures for St. John's Parish Day School. It contains a wealth of information including, school hours, lost and found, emergency procedures, school parties, illness, the uniform, and so much more. If you've consulted the Parent Handbook and still have additional questions, contact Judy Robbins, Early Childhood Director, or Tiffany Rath, Lower School Director.

Uniforms

St. John's students enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 5th, must wear the school uniform. Uniform items must be purchased at Land’s End unless otherwise noted in the Uniform Policy. The complete Policy is located in the Parent Handbook.  An abridged version of the policy is attached below.

Children who attend our Early Childhood programs are not required to wear a uniform. However, clothes that are washable and allow your child to engage in all of the activities of an active classroom are important. Further, clothes that allow for easy bathroom use are important. Sneakers or other closed toe shoes are most appropriate for the school day.

The Media Center

The St. John’s Parish Day School Media Center has an excellent staff willing to assist you with locating the information you need for a class project or just to scratch a curious itch. Our Media Center houses an expansive selection of children’s literature that we encourage you to borrow. The media center is also home to our technology lab. Students may contact one of our Technology staff should they need to use a computer for school research or projects.
