Annual Fund & Matching Gifts

The 6th Gift Campaign is an overwhelming success!

The generosity of the St. John's community coupled with the matching contributions of the anonymous donor resulted in St. John's making a substantial principle payment to our building loan of $700,000! The loan reset rate has been establised at 2.02%.  The resulting effect is that St. John's has taken a great step towards improved financial stability of our school.

Traditional Giving Opportunity

While the general Annual Fund was not promoted this year in lieu of the 6th Gift Campaign that culminated in early December 2011, gifts to the school will still be accepted and credited to the Annual Fund.   Call the Headmaster for more details:  Steve Harrison  410-465-7644

Additionally, in the spring this year, we will again provide opportunities for individuals to support the school in two DIRECTED GIVING options. These options will allow contributions to be directed specifically to support two different projects at the School: 1) the Early Childhood playground upgrades, and/or 2) technology initiatives. Contributors can select the area of need in which to direct their gifts.  All contributions to the Annual Fund, whether designated Unrestricted or Directed Giving, will still be 100% tax deductible.

Matching Gifts

Corporate matching-gift programs offer an easy way to double the size of your annual gift. Many employers sponsor matching-gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Please inquire as to whether your company participates. If your company is eligible, request a matching-gift form from your employer and send it, completed and signed, with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to St. John’s Parish Day School may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and spouses as well.
