4th and 5th-grade students learn to play the violin through a wonderfully rich curriculum. Weekly assignments support what is learned during class time. Students practice fingering, notes, scales, rests, and actual songs. Our young violinist showcases their talent at performances like Lower School Night of the Arts and many others. 

 

Grade 3 students are immersed in cultural exploration through the first half of the school year during their African Drum-focused music class! The second half of the school year is devoted to introducing the students to recorders and other woodwind instruments.
