St. John’s offers an extended-day option for children who are enrolled in a three-day or five-day-a-week partial-day class for three-year-olds. Extended-day classes take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Children will have a rest period and outdoor/indoor playtime. The cost for extended-day is in addition to regular tuition.
Before-Care provides supervised care for St. John’s children from 7:00 am to the start of school, and After-Care from the end of school to 6:00 pm. Our goal is to provide a safe, supervised, and relaxed environment where the children can feel comfortable playing or working on a craft. A snack is provided during After-Care. Children who are enrolled in a 3-year old program may be registered for Before-and/or After-Care. However, 3-year old students are limited to 2.5 hours total per day in the Before- and/or After-Care programs. St. John's Parish Day School is a more traditional school environment than many other Early Childhood programs. We believe our youngest students are not physically, emotionally, or socially ready to be in a school environment for extended periods of time. Learn more about Before- and After-Care programs here.
In addition to our After Care program, we offer a range of classes from outside providers. These options include cooking, tae kwon do, drama, jumping rope, and more. The cost, which varies by program, is in addition to regular tuition.
