Applying to the
Early Childhood Program is easy.

Important Dates for Early Childhood Applicants

Jan 15 --- Financial aid application due to SSS (www.nais.org)
Jan 18 --- Early Childhood Open House
Jan 31 --- Early Childhood Open House
Feb 6   --- Admission application and $75 fee due to SJPDS

*Still accepting applications on a space available basis.  Please contact Mrs. Nadine Marks, Director of Admissions, to inquire about space in your child's program or grade.

Jun 1   --- First tuition payment due

Age Requirements

Three-Year-Old Programs --- Must be 3 years old by September 1, 2017.
Two-Day Three-Year-Old Program ONLY --- Can be 3 years old on or before November 1, 2017.*
Four-Year-Old Programs --- Must be 4 years old by September 1, 2017.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) --- Must be 5 years old on or before November 1, 2017.**
*Must enroll in another Three-Year-Old Program the following year or may be eligible for a Four-Year-Old Program based on a readiness assessment and teacher recommendation. Note: For children turning three-years-old between September 1 and November 1, please read our Young 3s guidelines.
**Must have completed a Four-Year-Old Program. TK does not replace a Kindergarten program.

How to Apply

Applications for children new to St. John's, including siblings of current or former students, parishioners of St. John's Episcopal Church and legacy students can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. All families must indicate their first and second choice programs. Program placement is confirmed when contract and deposit are received. When spaces are no longer available, children are placed on our waiting list and parents are notified if and when space becomes available.

Please note that priority consideration is given to siblings of current students (in Early Childhood and Lower School), parishioners of St. John’s Episcopal Church, former families and legacy students. St. John's Parish Day School does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, color, gender, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin in its admissions policy or in the administration of its financial assistance program. All admissions information is kept strictly confidential.
