Programs for 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Children

St. John’s provides programs designed specifically to foster this love of learning in young children. We offer a variety of schedule options for three- and four-year-old children, developed to accommodate the needs of today's busy families.  Children are introduced to a wide range of early social and academic learning opportunities to begin opening their minds to a complex world. All children attend daily chapel, participate in circle time, enjoy guided play both indoors and outdoors, and receive unparalleled instruction from teachers who specialize in early childhood learning, music, art, science, physical education, and media. St. John's also offers reasonably priced extended-day programs and several after-school academic-enrichment opportunities. All programs offer a daily snack that includes milk. Nutritious, kid-friendly hot lunch options are available at minimal cost.

Transitional Kindergarten

Unique to St. John's is a class for those children who need a little more time to mature and become developmentally ready for Kindergarten. Children who turn five before November 1 and have completed a four-year-old program are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten (TK). This gift of time provides an extra boost to the long-term success of these children. The TK program takes place five full days per week. Our TK friends also participate in music, music lab, science, art, physical education, media, and technology programs.
