Media Center and Technology

Media Center

Our Media Center houses both print material and our Technology Class Room. The Media Center is staffed with two librarians and a technology teacher. Our media staff are committed to promoting a love of reading, providing instruction in information research skills, and advancing our students' knowledge about efficient and safe computer skills.  Students in our both our Early Childhood and Lower School visit the media center regularly in their classes, and students also can visit the Media Center library at the conclusion of the school day — after 3:30 pm. Print materials support the curriculum and provide recreational reading for students and faculty.

Technology

We believe the use of digital technology can enrich the teaching and learning experience for all members of our community. We are dedicated to providing instruction and support that prepares our students to be innovative, confident, and responsible users of digital technology and accompanying communication tools. We strive to promote the use of  technology in the meaningful pursuit of knowledge. We believe that competence comes through instruction and ample real-world experience in locating, integrating, evaluating, and creating meaning from the vast amounts of information available to our students. We are committed to providing our graduates with the skills and experiences to fully participate in a knowledge-based, global society.
